Precision photo etched flat springs
Unlike stamping and other traditional machining methods, chemical photo etching can produce custom flat springs that are 100% free of burrs, stress, and material degradation.
Our photo etching process involves selectively removing material from sheet metal with chemical solution and UV photoresist—eliminating the potential for burrs or stress—without altering the mechanical properties of the spring material. This effectively maintains attributes such as flatness, recoil, and fatigue strength to produce springs accurate within ±0.020mm of design specifications.
